Commercial Vehicle Builds and Custom Fit-Outs

Builds That Are Done Right, First Time

Every build decision impacts productivity, safety and whole-of-life cost. When commercial vehicles and equipment are built properly from the start, everything runs more smoothly. Our build approach is designed to deliver better outcomes for your organisation, from predictable costs to assets that are ready to work from day one.

We combine extensive sourcing networks with deep experience in modifying and building custom commercial vehicle solutions. The result is assets that are fit-for-purpose, built to specification, compliant and delivered on time, every time.

Purpose-Built Commercial Solutions with Service at Every Step

Interleasing’s build capability focuses on managing the end-to-end design and construction of commercial vehicles and equipment. We deliver custom solutions across heavy and light commercials, specialist fit-outs and purpose-built equipment, going well beyond standard configurations.

Through our structured Inter-build process, we take the time to understand how and where each asset will be used, including site visits where required. We work with you to confirm the right design, coordinate trusted suppliers and conduct on-site inspections during the build to monitor progress and address any refinements early. Every build is project-managed from start to finish, with clear communication, thorough quality checks and assets delivered ready for use and compliant with Australian Standards.

We also provide expert guidance on build modifications that improve serviceability, minimise downtime and ensure assets continue to perform reliably in real-world conditions.

How we deliver

How do we ensure each vehicle is fit-for-purpose?

We get it right the first time by working closely with you, gaining a comprehensive understanding of the build and it’s anticipated applications. This includes reviewing any non-standard environmental requirements upfront to help avoid unnecessary disruptions or cost.

What is the Inter Build process?

The Inter Build process is our structured, end-to-end approach to delivering custom commercial vehicle and equipment builds. We take full ownership of the build process and keep you closely involved at every stage. Building a vehicle or piece of equipment with us is a collaborative experience that involves the people who will manage and use the assets in the field. We provide regular updates and onsite inspections to give you confidence the project is on-track and built to your requirements.

How do we ensure safety and compliance?

Your people are our number one priority, which is why we go above and beyond to design vehicles and equipment with structural integrity and industry-leading safety features. Examples include three points of contact vehicle entry and exit, and sufficient lighting for when equipment is being used in non-standard applications.

We acknowledge the role we play in the heavy-vehicle supply chain and our duty-of-care responsibilities. We ensure vehicles meet Australian standards and are built with correct payloads for client requirements. We work closely with the National Heavy Vehicle Regulator to stay up to date on regulations and best practices that will deliver the required safety outcomes.

What inspections and testing are completed before delivery?

Prior to delivery, all vehicles and pieces of equipment are inspected to ensure they meet engineering, electrical and roadworthy standards with appropriate certification. We do comprehensive inspections and the final checks so you have confidence when you receive the asset that it is ready to go.
